1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“Merchant”, “User”, or “You”), and KeralaGoldAPI (“we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the KeralaGoldAPI platform, APIs, webhook endpoints, and related software integrations.

By registering an account, purchasing a subscription via PhonePe, or generating an API key, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms.

2. Description of Services

KeralaGoldAPI is a serverless SaaS platform providing:

Real-time automated bullion benchmark rate feeds for Kerala Gold (24K, 22K 916, 18K), Silver, and Platinum.
Dynamic retail jewelry calculation APIs including value addition (VA %), BIS HUID hallmark charges (₹45), and statutory 3% Goods & Services Tax (GST).
Automated WooCommerce catalog repricing software plugins.
Sub-15ms edge caching and usage telemetry.

3. Subscription Tiers & Payments

Our services are billed on a recurring monthly or prepaid basis:

Free Starter Tier: ₹0 per month. Limited to 1,000 requests/month and manual rate feeds.
Pro Store Tier: ₹1,499 per month. Includes 250,000 requests/month, full dynamic jewelry calculation engine (/api/calculate), and WooCommerce automated sync.
Enterprise Tier: Custom volume pricing for multi-showroom retail chains and marketplaces.

All payments are collected in Indian Rupees (INR) through PhonePe Payment Gateway. Applicable statutory taxes (such as GST) are computed and clearly displayed prior to transaction confirmation.

4. API Key Security & Fair Use

Each merchant is issued a unique 256-bit cryptographic API key (kg_live_...). Merchants are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. You agree not to:

Share, publish, or publicly expose your API keys in client-side code or public repositories.
Perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, automated brute-force scraping, or attempt to bypass Cloudflare edge rate limits.
Resell, redistribute, or white-label the raw rate feeds without written authorization.

5. Uptime & Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We strive to maintain a 99.9% edge API uptime backed by Cloudflare’s global Anycast infrastructure. However, rates depend on official market announcements (e.g. daily 10:15 AM bulletin). Scheduled maintenance windows are announced with advance notice via dashboard announcements.

6. Termination

Merchants may cancel their subscription at any time from their Merchant Dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate fair-use policies or engage in fraudulent activity.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thrissur / Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
